Simon Says Crazy Peachy Sweet!

Simon Says use glitter & stickles is OK! Crazy 4 Challenges wants to see three geometric shapes on a card...I've got several rectangles, lots of circles/dots and one square peeking out from behind my flower. The Peachy Keen "recipe" said to use pink & brown, 1 stamped image, 1 piece of ribbon and glitter (stickles). And I wrapped it all up by using the Sweet Sunday Sketch #41.

Feel Better - GCA#63 & Curtain Call #8

Two challenges this week call for Basic Black, Whisper White & Pumpkin Pie...Ann's Creative Nook and Stacey's Stamping Stage. Well, I've kind of gotten tired of making Halloween cards and I don't use that many of those so I went a totally different direction. Simon Says is looking for Get Well cards, so that's where I headed...using the CPS #139 sketch. My patterned paper is Bo Bunny, the rub on transfers are daisy d's, and the sentiment is from TAC.

Fall Celebration!

The One Stop Craft challenge this week is "Celebration"...I've used the "it's time to celebrate!" sentiment from Stampin' Up's A Little Birdie Told Me set.

A Spoon Full of Fall Colors

Here's my idea for the Spoon Full of Sugar sketch challenge this week. The "with love" sentiment is from Stampin Up's Yummy set.

A Yummy Tiny Treasure

Over at Cute Card Thursday the challenge is something candy themed and at Pals Paper Arts the DT wants anything but a card. I created this Tiny Treasure holder to hold a little something yummy for your tummy. I was especially happy to create this project using the Stampin' Up Yummy stamp, which was a part of the Blog Candy I recently won from Ann Schach. Thanks again, Ann...I'm lovin' my goodies!

A Spoon Full of Halloween

I worked off of the sketch over at A Spoon Full of Sugar to create this Halloween greeting. Seems all the challenge blogs are asking for a Halloween card this week, so this one fills the bill for Cute Card Thursday, One Stop Craft Challenge, The Corrosive Challenge, and Ann's Creative Nook. *whew*

One Stop Birthday

Here's the card I came up with using the new sketch at Just Christmas and Birthday Cards. The One Stop Craft challenge also just happened to be a birthday card this week, and I went to Just Us Girls for the aqua, red & cream challenge this week. My patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye and the birthday sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Sincere Salutations.

Corrosive Fashionista...Bling it on!

The sketch inspiration for this card came from the Corrosive Challenge, and I added "bling" (shiney dew drops in the center of my flowers) for the Fahsionista #7 challenge.

Sweet Sunday Thanksgiving

My inspiration for this card came from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #39, and I went with a Thanksgiving theme to participate in the Belli #76 challenge.

I'm Dreaming of a Blue Christmas??

The sketch inspiration for this card comes from Card Positioning Systems and I'm playing along with Crafty Creatsoins where the challenge is BLUE! I just went with Christmas when I pulled out this card kit from Jane over at Card Maker Card Swap...thanks Jane, I really had fun with this kit! The sentiment comes from Stampin' Up's Holiday Wishes set.

Paper Pieced Halloween

I found a new challenge blog last week, read the challenge and thought "I don't paper piece." So filed the link to the blog away to check again another week. Then lo & behold, I found a paper piecing pattern I thought I could pull off. BHG Scrapbooks, etc. had several fun patterns recently. The blog with the paper piecing challenge is Just Us Girls. Papertake Weekly's challenge this week is Halloween and 2 Red Bananas color challenge is purple, black & orange. The sketch inspiration came from Our Creative Corner.

A Spoon Full of Simon Says...

Halloween is in the air (or some might say among us, if Janae is reading this) at both Simon Says and A Spoon Full of Sugar this week! While the PPA11 color challenge fit right into that theme...Perfect Plum, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie. I "cheated" (Eek!!) some and used up more of the leftover wedding Elegant Eggplant for my card base, but the stripes on my orange ribbon are very nearly Perfect Plum. That graph looking paper is from Stampin' Up's Old Olive DSP pack.

A Charming Curtain Call

The Cute Card Thursday challenge this week is to make a "charming" card. I used this little butterfly from my stash & the S-clip is left over from the infamous wedding rehearsal dinner invitations! The Curtain Call Color Challenge this week is Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Lavendar Lace, Whisper White & So Saffron. My Tempting Turquoise patterned paper is from Stampin' Up's Rainbow Sherbet DSP.

Sweet Peachy Keen Snowflakes

I'm using this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch for my basic inspiration on this card. And I love the "recipe" over at Peachy Keen...use blue & purple, a stamped image, a greeting (mine are combined) and at least three snowflakes. The image with sentiment is from Stampin' Up's The World Over set. Everything else is from my stash.

Thanks a Bunch!

I got the sketch inspiration for this card from Card Positioning Systems. Cupcake Craft Challenges is looking for Thank You cards this week, and the weekly challenge over at Card Maker is simply for the birds!! I used Stampin' Up's Fun & Fast Notes for my image/sentiment and the patterned paper is from Pebbles Inc. Ribbon & flower brads from my stash.

Jazzy Girl

Happy World Card Making Day...three posts later!! Simon Says has a 24 hour challenge going on to make a Girly Girl card. Well, I'm just as girly as the next but I am not pink & frilly...so for me hearts, scallops & dots say "girly girl". Then add to that mix the Jazzy Inspiration challenge to use Black, White & Purple (my second favorite color) and here's what I came up with! I used Stampin Up's Polka Dot Punches heart stamp to create my "flower".

Pals Fashion...

I made this card for PPA10 & Fashionista5. I was intrigued by those numbers fitting together the way they do!! Anyway, the PPA challenge was to make a card expressing gratitude & thanks, while over at If The Shoe Fits, the challenge was to use lime green, pink & black.

An Autumn Card with Halloween Bling

Several of the challenges over the past few weeks have been of the Autumn nature, and I had avoided Halloween until this week when the Belli Challenge was to use Halloween Bling. I had these very cute orange & black square brads just begging to be used!! Crafty Creations & One Stop Craft Challenge are both doing Autumn this week too, yes...there are leaves on those pumpkins I stamped in my masked edge. *smile* By the way, those pumpkins are from Stampin Up's Loads of Love Accessories.

Red & Green Sketch Inspiration

This fun sketch comes from Just Christmas and Birthday Cards, where I normally try to make birthday cards to keep up with the demand. But since the Simon Says challenge was to use Red & Green, I figured I might as well do a Christmas card.
